A single 26.81 kg stone was found on the porch of an abandoned house in Terry County, Texas. A second paired stone weighing 27.2 kg was recovered many years later lying in a ditch. This ordinary chondrite has been extensively metamorphosed, almost to the point of recrystallization, and therefore it has been classified as a transitional petrologic type of 6/7. The specimen shown above is a 10.4 g cut and polished fragment.
